Office Space to let
in Apsley
Renting office space from the Apsley Paper Trail Trust is to be part of the important history and culture of the Gade River Valley where Apsley and Hemel Hempstead are located. Being the buildings that once housed the thriving local paper industry, our offices are far from bland and anonymous. Paper is to Apsley what steel is to Sheffield, or lace to Nottingham. Our rooms are the same rooms that local paper tycoon John Dickinson worked from, where John Dickinson & Co. grew to international fame and The British Paper Company was housed. In 1803 the first ever mechanised paper machine, the “Fourdrinier”, was installed at Frogmore Paper Mill in Apsley, and John Dickinson’s Cylinder Mould Machine was developed and installed at Apsley Mills in 1809.
What our residents say…
I highly recommend the offices at Frogmore Paper Mill, I have been a tenant for over 7 years and the whole team go out of their way to accommodate the needs of my business
On behalf of all of us as a company – thank you. You’ve provided a brilliant place to conduct business as a fledgling company.
On a personal note, I’d like to thank you for making me feel so welcome from day one. It’s been a pleasure!
We have been using the office space at the JDEC for over 15 years which evidently shows how happy we are here. The location is great as the M1 and M25 are within easy reach plus there is a local pub and a Sainsbury’s within a few minutes walk. Parking is good and is monitored which stops people abusing it to use the train station over the road. The management of the site and their staff are all very friendly and attentive when necessary. Any issue within the office can be raised via phone or email and then it is always looked into and rectified fairly quickly. All of the buildings have good intruder alarm systems and the fact the site has 24 hour security response is an added bonus.
Overall we are very happy with the office space and site. We would highly recommend the office space to anyone who is looking.
